Job Description

Description We are looking for a skilled mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with over three years of experience to join our mid-sized law firm client's team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves handling diverse commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate conflicts, and bankruptcy matters. The position is primarily office-based, with occasional opportunities to work remotely. Responsibilities: - Represent clients in commercial litigation cases, including business disputes, real estate issues, and bankruptcy proceedings. - Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with clarity and precision. - Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client interests. - Manage all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to requests for documents and interrogatories. - Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings to advocate for client interests. - Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and effective representation. - Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, when appropriate. - Provide clear and regular communication to clients regarding case progress and outcomes. Requirements - Must have at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation. - Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona is required. - Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documentation. - Proven ability to manage discovery processes effectively, including document production and interrogatories. - Excellent legal research and analytical skills. - Strong oral and written communication abilities, including courtroom advocacy. - Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
