Job Description

We're a team with experiences developing products at Google, Uber, Stanford, Berkeley & Rhode Island School of Design who are working on a new 3D Social Network designed around night life and music. It's an iOS and Android app based experience.

We're a couple of months away from our Public Alpha Launch, and we're seeking a talented 3D Artist / Character Animator to create high-quality, stylized custom dance routines, character animations, and idle loops in Maya or Blender, with a focus on fluid, natural motion. These animations will be optimized for and implemented in Unity.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality, stylized custom dance routines, character animations, and idle loops in Maya or Blender, with a focus on fluid, natural motion – to be optimized for and implemented in Unity3D
Work in Mixamo to customize and modify existing animations to fit our experience
Create mobile optimized Characters and Assets for Unity3D (we have iOS and Android apps)
Create Characters and Assets for our website and app store pages
Create and contribute to our first Private Asset Library
Get to know us and enjoy yourself!

Requirements

Ability to create characters and assets within a variety of artistic styles
Experience creating mobile optimized characters in Unity3D is a plus
Previous work on AAA titles and/or titles shipped on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Steam ideal
Some 3D Environment skills is also a plus
Understanding of optimization for Unity3D
A strong sense for composition, color, and light
Ability to create game ready 3D assets (models, textures, and shaders) that work well within the given technical limitations of iOS and Android devices
Able to scope work, adjust quickly in a fast moving environment
Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems

Time commitment

3-Month project with potential to extend depending on need and skill fit
