Job Title: AI Engineer
Location: Remote (LATAM - Preference Brazil based candidates)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and agentic solutions tailored to specific business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fine-tuning pre-trained models, working with open-source AI frameworks, and optimizing AI solutions for scalability and performance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into existing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and agentic solutions, including custom models for specific use cases.

• Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., GPT, BERT, etc.) to meet business requirements.

• Leverage Microsoft Copilot Studio agentic solutions for AI-driven automation (experience in this area is a plus).

• Utilize open-source AI frameworks and libraries, optimizing them for efficiency and scalability.

• Develop pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training to support AI workflows.

• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, including generative AI and transformer-based architectures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into business applications and workflows.

• Perform rigorous testing, validation, and optimization of AI models to ensure high reliability and accuracy.

• Monitor deployed models, analyze performance metrics, and implement necessary improvements.

• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in AI/ML development, including hands-on experience in training and deploying custom models.

• Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Scikit-learn, etc.

• Experience in fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) and working with pre-trained architectures.

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and natural language processing (NLP).

• Familiarity with open-source AI tools and platforms (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, Stable Diffusion).

• Experience working with cloud-based AI/ML services such as AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure AI.

• Knowledge of MLOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business problems into AI solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Reinforcement Learning (RL) techniques and AI-driven decision-making frameworks.

• Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.

• Exposure to AI ethics, bias mitigation, and explainable AI (XAI) methodologies.

• Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications in AI/ML.
