We are looking to hire an experienced BI Analyst  to join our team! The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making within the construction industry. This entry-level position focuses on developing reports, visualizations, dashboards, and key performance metrics to support business operations. The BI Analyst will work with tools such as SQL, Python/R, Power BI, and Excel to analyze business trends, optimize processes, and improve data-driven decision-making.

This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring that reporting solutions align with organizational goals. The BI Analyst will also support data integrity, ETL processes, and automation workflows and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and reports using SQL, Python/R, and Power BI.
  • Design and manage reporting infrastructure for high performance and usability.
  • Build and maintain reporting pipelines for automation and data transformation.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to collect and convert complex data into actionable insights.
  • Monitor data pipelines, ETL processes, and ensure data integrity for accuracy and reliability.
  • Support KPI tracking and business metrics analysis to enhance operational decision-making.
  • Assist in developing user-friendly UI components for interactive data visualization dashboards.
  • Write, modify, and optimize code to improve automated and reporting processes.
  • Assist in user training, documentation, and feedback collection for continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 1-2 years of experience in BI analysis, data analytics, workflow automation or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ML/AI
  • Understanding of database structures, ETL processes, and data warehousing best practices.
  • Ability to analyze business trends and detect anomalies in large datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Experience with performance tuning of BI tools and data visualization techniques.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
  • Background in front-end UI development for interactive dashboards.
  • Understanding of construction industry data trends and reporting needs (preferred but not required).

Education and Experience:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in SQL, Power BI, and Python

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

• Prolonged periods of sitting
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Office-based work with varying temperatures.
• Occasional travel to jobsites with fluctuations in weather.

Job Type: Full-time, exempt

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
