To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Summary: HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Certified Flight Controller to support mission planning and provide simulated and live mission execution support at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. What You Will Do: + Certified Flight controller with expert knowledge on Weapons School syllabus, mission briefings, and debriefings while identifying and reporting student trends to Phase Managers. + Coordinate and process waivers for drop zone and landing zone utilization in accordance with AMC CONOPS COMREL. Coordinate cargo, aircraft, and drop zone scheduling with base agencies, AMC/A3 and oversee coordination between supporting wing maintenance and Weapon School operations. + Perform Drop Zone (DZ) and USAF Weapons School (USAFWS) syllabus requirements for C-130 Weapons Instruct Course (WIC) and Advanced Instructor Course (AIC) + Liaison between Operations Center and Air Mobility Command for aircraft utilization in future USAFWS C-130J operations. Control aircraft allocation request between two Airlift Wings and respective current operations. + Coordinate with base agencies to produce weekly flying schedule and conduct weekly operations/maintenance clearance to conduct USAFWS syllabus sorties. + Develop annual flying hour program for USAFWS C-130J and provide monthly updates to Squadron Commander. + Coordinate all load scheduling w/ Logistical Readiness Squadron to include load tracking and forecasting What We're Looking For: + 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. + Valid Driver's License required. + Must attend 2 syllabuses required TDY annually (4 weeks annual total) + Active Top Secret Security Clearance Preferred Requirements + Expert in Drop Zone Operations and USAFWS syllabus/phase manual + Must be Drop Zone Control Officer certified and be able to provide passive control of aircraft IAW AFI 13-217 Drop Zone and Landing Zone Operations. + Expert knowledge of supervising and training Air Force loading crews and associated Air Force procedures. + Expert knowledge in Aircraft Allocation program, Elcano. + Expert knowledge for properly loading, securing, and escorting cargo and passengers.
