Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Location New York, NY :

Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Associate is able to quickly develop strong relationships and trust, warmly welcome new clients, and answer inquiries. Additionally, the Front Desk Associate may need to process transactions, handle money, and contribute to facility cleanliness.

Required Schedule:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays

6 Hours a day.

$18-$20/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma but college degree preferred.
  • Customer service experience
  • Previous experience handling money
  • Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic
  • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational
  • Strong team player
  • Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Availability to stand for long periods of time
  • This position required the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and talk
  • The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls and taking messages as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and calendar management.
  • Maintain office organization and assist with administrative duties as required.
  • Process cash transactions accurately and securely.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
