Job Purpose: The Graphic Design role at tag is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a seasoned graphic designer passionate about home décor and visual storytelling. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visuals that effectively communicate our brand identity across various channels. This role requires a professional with 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, a keen eye for detail, and a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and expertise in design principles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visual Content Creation: Develop creative designs for print and digital media including catalogs, brochures, website graphics, email campaigns, signage, postcards, flyers, ads, videos and any other marketing communication materials.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with tag ’s brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all marketing materials.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize, design, and execute creative projects that meet business objectives.
• Market Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, design innovations, and competitors’ visual strategies to continuously improve our visual presence.
• Layout and Typography: Craft visually appealing layouts and select appropriate typography for various marketing and promotional materials.
• File Preparation: Prepare print-ready files and digital assets in accordance with specifications for both in-house and external vendors and customers.
• Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and enhance design deliverables.
• Email Analytics : Monitor key metrics like open and click-through rates to refine content and segmentation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in retail, wholesale, or home decor industries.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in designing for e-commerce or retail sectors.
• Knowledge or interest in photography/photo art direction is a plus.
• Experience with color and prepress/printing/production is a plus.
• Knowledge of current trends in home decor and lifestyle design.
• Familiarity with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing your design expertise across various media.
• Creativity & Innovation: Ability to translate abstract ideas into compelling visual designs with a high level of creativity.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail, color, typography, layout. Consistently produce accurate and on-time materials.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate changing priorities.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.
• Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
