Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary IT Director to join our team at Centre Technologies, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP). The IT Director will oversee the strategic direction and management of our IT department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, service management, and business alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall IT strategy aligned with business goals. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in IT services.
Department Oversight: Oversee the IT department, including IT Managers and other senior staff. Ensure effective management and coordination of all IT functions.
Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Act as a senior point of contact for major client issues and strategic discussions.
Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to align IT initiatives with organizational objectives. Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth.
Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources across various IT projects and initiatives. Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, budget, and technology.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT operations and projects. Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of IT services. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery.
Technology Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that supports the company's strategic goals. Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.
Budget Oversight: Oversee the IT budget, including planning, forecasting, and cost control. Ensure efficient use of financial resources.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with key vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within an MSP environment.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills. Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, project management, and service delivery. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
