Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating various machinery and tools. This role involves working with precision equipment to manufacture high-quality components and products, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for machining tasks.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy in production.
• Program CNC machines as required for specific production runs.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Work with plastics injection molding processes when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality control.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating power tools and machinery.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
• Familiarity with tooling, programming, and operating CNC machines is essential.
• Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
