Our client, a well-respected clinic based in Honolulu, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join their front office team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, enjoys working directly with patients, and has a knack for organization and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion

• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups

• Handle a high volume of incoming calls and route messages appropriately

• Verify insurance and obtain prior authorizations as needed

• Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff for seamless patient flow

• Maintain and update patient records with accuracy and confidentiality

• Support billing and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a medical front desk or receptionist role

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent phone etiquette

• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Comfortable with electronic medical records systems; experience with WebPT is a plus

• Typing speed of 55+ WPM

• Familiarity with insurance plans, authorizations, and working with healthcare professionals is preferred
