Occupational Therapist (OT) For MVA And Psychotherapy Trauma Program Locations We’re Hiring In: - Durham Region, ON

Qualifications - University Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Membership in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
- Minimum of 1 year of general OT mental health experience
- Completion of at least one of the following courses: CBT, ACT, DBT (if not completed, there is an opportunity to take one of these courses within your first year at FA)
What is a day in the life of a FA Occupational Therapist?- Assess and treat individuals with neurological, orthopedic, mental health conditions, and injuries
- Assist clients with establishing and meeting meaningful goals within their home and community settings
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on occupational analysis and clinical reasoning
- Liaise with a variety of community partners and rehabilitation professionals to facilitate client goals and independence
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training sessions and establishing personal networks
