Job Description

About the Family:  
This wonderful family in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a reliable and compassionate nanny to provide temporary childcare support when their grandmother (who normally helps with their 8 and 10-year-old children) is traveling. The family needs assistance during extended stretches of time, covering specific dates when grandma is unavailable. The family values flexibility and consistency, aiming to establish a long-term connection with someone who can assist during these times throughout the year. 

Responsibilities:  

• Pickup the children from school and assist with homework 
• Prepare and serve dinner 
• Run errands and assist with light household tasks, such as shopping and scheduling appointments 
• Occasional overnight care when the parents are away 

Qualifications:  

• Reliable transportation required 
• Previous experience with children, especially in managing after-school routines 
• Willingness to be flexible and provide care during specific extended periods throughout the year 
• Ability to assist during future travel dates (2/25-3/19, 5/12-6/6) 

Additional Information:  

• Care is needed for extended stretches of time, not on a regular, weekly schedule 
• Interested candidates should be available during specific periods, such as when grandmother is traveling and open to providing intermittent help when able, ample advanced noticed will be provided for travel dates
• Rate: $20/hr

Schedule:  

• Temporary care needed when grandmother (who ordinarily provides care) is away on extended trips 
• Upcoming dates for care: 2/25-3/19, 5/12-6/6, additional dates to follow 
• Daily hours: 3:30pm-6:30pm for school pickup, homework, and dinner prep 
• Additional tasks: Errands, shopping, scheduling appointments during the day 
• Occasional overnight care when family is out of town
