Opportunity
Life Surge is seeking a highly skilled Production Assistant with expertise in ProPresenter to join our dynamic production team. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the flawless execution of all technical and visual elements of our events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work cross-functionally with various teams to bring our events to life.
Responsibilities:
ProPresenter Expertise: Manage all aspects of ProPresenter, ensuring all triggers, content, and technical elements are properly set up and function smoothly before the run of the show.
Show Execution: Take ownership of what is visually presented during the event, ensuring all creative elements are updated and executed with precision.
Technical Management: Oversee the setup and testing of all technical components, including screens, cues, and media assets, to guarantee a seamless experience.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the Events Team to manage furniture logistics, talent riders, and any stage visuals to align with the creative vision.
Stage Readiness: Lead and manage a team responsible for handling and placing all visible stage elements, ensuring a polished and professional setup.
Troubleshooting & Quality Control: Identify and resolve any technical issues before and during the event to maintain a high production standard.
Producer Support: Assist the Producer in any necessary tasks to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
Retention & Innovation: Contribute to creating an engaging and memorable show experience by bringing new ideas and strategies to improve audience retention and enhance overall production quality.
Marketing Liaison: Act as the primary liaison with the Marketing Team to request and coordinate stage creative needs, including but not limited to new slide creation, sponsorship slides, giveaway slides, and other production assets such as NCR forms, with approval from the Producer.
Financial Coordination: Assist with invoice and receipt submissions for reimbursement, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Work closely with the producer and production assistants to proactively adjust event elements as needed.
Coordinate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any day-of-event challenges that may impact flow or timing.
This position requires frequent travel and work on Saturdays, as well as availability in the mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. If you are passionate about event production and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply and become a vital part of our team at Life Surge.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in ProPresenter and experience managing multimedia content for live events.
Strong understanding of AV systems, live production workflows, and event logistics.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, live event environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Experience working with talent riders, furniture logistics, and stage setup is a plus.
Strong leadership and team management skills to coordinate stage elements and event execution.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for events.
