Johnson & Johnson is rapidly expanding and is immediately hiring qualified R&D Medical Device Assemblers to support production demand and new product development. **Position Summary:** As an R&D Medical Device Assembler, you will play a key role in developing and assembling innovative electrophysiology (EP) catheters and medical devices used in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders. Johnson & Johnson is a global leader in cardiac electrophysiology, providing advanced catheter technology that helps physicians accurately map and treat arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. The devices assembled in this role directly contribute to life-saving treatments by improving the precision and effectiveness of minimally invasive cardiac procedures. Your work in assembling, soldering, and testing these devices ensures high-quality, reliable medical solutions that help improve patient outcomes worldwide. **Job Title:** R&D Medical Device Assembler **Pay Rate:** $30-$35 Hourly (depending on skills assessment test) **1st Shift:** 5AM-1:30PM 6AM-2:30PM 7AM-3:30PM **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, and Holiday Pay **Location:** Irvine, CA * Candidates must have previous experience performing soldering and rework responsibilities under microscope. Experience soldering under microscope is a mandatory requirement. **Job Responsibilities/ Requirements:** + Must be able to perform soldering and rework responsibilities under microscope. Typical magnifications used:6X-40X + Soldering experience is a mandatory requirement for this position. Regularly solder 28-42-gauge wire + Must be able to perform both verbal and written instructions + Ability to work under microscope for duration of shift + Possess good manual dexterity with close attention to detail + Ability to read and interpret work order instructions, SOP's, visual aids, and engineer drawings + Collaborate with engineering on new process development and provide feedback as needed + Experience utilizing small hand tools, tweezers, razor blades, and adhesives + Must be comfortable with public speaking and providing feedback to superiors, and team members as needed + Perform other duties as assigned Actively interviewing and hiring immediately.
