**DESCRIPTION** **Job Summary:** Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mesa, AZ). This is a Resident Technician for Keolis We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! Will make an impact in the following ways: + Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Completes complex internal engine repairs + Performs engine overhauls unassisted + Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components + Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software **QUALIFICATIONS** The tech for this position would be trained in-shop but the primary role of this position is as a resident tech for our transit customer. Once training is complete the tech will report to the customer site daily. DOT - A current valid license is required for this role - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical - 3 years driving experience - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use -Federal law requires operators of commercial vehicles to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age - This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing. **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit (Preferred) This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products **Compensation and Benefits** Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
