Risk Analyst II Location Hybrid remote in Naperville, IL :

As a Risk Analyst II, you will be an integral part of ALDI's National Risk team. You will work in partnership with other ALDI Risk professionals to inspire and engage our Workers' Compensation teams and business partners. This individual must bring to ALDI a balance of claims management knowledge, experience, leadership and interpersonal skills that will help protect the organization and support ALDI's core purpose and values.

Position Type: Full-Time Work Location: Naperville, IL This role is eligible to participate in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Provides proactive analysis of current projects and analytical review of reported results to update and inform their leader for ongoing projects.
  • Liaises and collaborates with vendor partners.
  • Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and compiles accident data to support risk management projects and objectives.
  • Executes Workers' Compensation, General Liability, Auto Liability, and/or Property Claims Management projects from their assignment through implementation.
  • Assists in evaluation of feasibility, effectiveness and efficiency of projects and initiatives.
  • Prepares and updates project plans and proposes milestones and deadlines for new and ongoing initiatives.
  • Performs monthly reports and key performance indicators.
  • Assists in analyzing current working procedures and in identifying best practices.
  • Interacts with various parties involved in the claim process.
  • Prepares and provides data and analysis to identify exposures and risks; recommends strategies for reducing costs and transferring risk.
  • Understands and analyzes emerging risks or mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership.
  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk, Safety Management, Business Administration or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Risk Management, Safety or Legal Services required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Travel:

  • Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
