The Opportunity

The Salesforce Solution Analyst and Admin is a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet Cornell University's evolving needs. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the role involves gathering business requirements, designing custom solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. With an innovative mindset, the analyst drives process improvements and enhances user experience organization-wide. Responsibilities include conducting solution analysis and design, gathering business requirements, data modeling and integration, project coordination, Salesforce administration, and providing operational support for Salesforce systems.

What We Need

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years working with enterprise Salesforce deployments, preferably in higher education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leverage Salesforce administration and platform expertise to collaborate with stakeholders in documenting business requirements and designing / deploying solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce team to architect and configure Salesforce to address business needs, following best practices.
  • Leverage expertise in Salesforce administration and customization to build solutions, optimize processes, automate workflows, and integrate data effectively.
  • Conduct Unit Tests and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Lead user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective adoption of Salesforce solutions.
  • Utilize Salesforce administration tools to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ensure smooth teamwork across departments through exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Create and tailor documentation of complex requirements, solutions, and designs to different audiences.
  • Introduce creative solutions and ideas to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
  • Lead projects and teams that focus on the Salesforce platform, data integrations, and process improvements.
  • Maintain a goal-oriented mindset, always striving to achieve project objectives and exceed expectations.
  • Take initiative on projects, working independently with both customers and the team to ensure progress and successful completion.
  • Support and maintain enterprise production solutions, promptly resolving any issues as they arise.
