Senior Systems Administrator
(This is a remote position open to applicants residing in TX, NM, AZ or KS)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Administrator to provide expert technical support, mentorship, and leadership within our IT support team. In this role, you will act as an escalation point for complex issues, guide Tier 2 team members, and ensure the timely resolution of customer concerns. You will oversee ticket boards to ensure SLA compliance. In addition to providing technical assistance, you will ensure that incidents and tickets are accurately logged and documented.
As a lead, you will manage team timesheets and conduct performance reviews. You will collaborate with Account Managers, offering insights into client health and addressing feedback.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily team workflows, delegating tasks, and handling after-hours and on-call support. You will also be involved in recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluating staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical troubleshooting skills, a passion for customer service, and a positive, professional demeanor. Experience with supervising teams, handling escalations, and maintaining high service standards is a must.
Requirements
4 years of related experience
Ability to train and mentor others
Experience with Office 365, Azure, and Terminal Services/WVD
Experience with Firewalls, Routers, and Switches
Experience with TCP/IP Connectivity, DHCP, and DNS
Experience with Client/Server application interaction
