Job Description



Link Solutions is seeking Web Software Developers (Intermediate to Senior) to join our team in support of the US Army's Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Requires a Secret Clearance 
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available) 

As a Web Software Developer , you will serve as a lead contributor in the design, development, and modernization of complex web-based applications. This role demands advanced technical proficiency and leadership in delivering secure, responsive, and maintainable web solutions.

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Develop, test, and deploy secure, user-centric web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., .NET, Angular, React)
  • Lead technical solution development in areas such as content management, workflow automation, and system integration
  • Optimize performance and user experience across legacy and modernized platforms
  • Implement STIG compliance, RMF-based security controls, and participate in security code reviews
  • Perform routine software updates and security patches
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
  • Develop and maintain web applications for content delivery, site administration, and database connectivity
  • Participate in the translation of user requirements into functional applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and enhancement requests

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT Service Management, or other IT-related fields. 
  • IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC) equivalent or higher.
  • Experience in DoD environments and understanding of secure coding practices.

Intermediate Level Requirements:

  • Three (3+) years of web development experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and a back-end language such as C# or PHP.
  • Must possess DoD 8140.03 / DoD 8570.1M CE MCSE Productivity Solutions Expert or equivalent/updated training.

Senior Level Requirements:

  • Six (6+) years of web development experience in enterprise environments for the Senior role.
  • Must possess DoD 8140.03 / DoD 8570.1M CE MCSD App Builder or equivalent/updated training.
  • Proficiency with full-stack development including JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, and back-end languages (e.g., C#, Python, or Java).

Preferred:

  • Active Secret Clearance. 
  • Experience with SharePoint customizations, Power Platform, or Azure services.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps practices and workflows.
  • Exposure to version control (e.g., Git) and scripting.
  • Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. 
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

Additional Information



This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next several weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
