Job Title: Web Software Developer, Senior
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Web Software Developer, Senior to support the client in its Unemployment Insurance (UI) Modernization efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications that support UI modernization. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work on both existing applications and new developments, and help implement solutions that scale for state-wide adoption.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web software development, including experience with both front-end and back-end development.
Proven experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment, with knowledge of SCRUM methodologies and software development life cycles (SDLC).
Strong proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
Proficient in back-end development, including experience with server-side languages (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js).
Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), including designing and managing database schemas and queries.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid IT environments.
Experience in DevOps processes, automated deployment, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Familiarity with security standards and best practices for web application development.
Experience with UI/UX design principles and user-centered design processes.
Familiarity with configuration management and change management tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, Jenkins).
Experience with reporting tools and statistical analysis (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders and external state teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $140,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The targe salary for this position is $133,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
