Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: East Lansing, MI About the Opportunity: Raizan Solutions, a trusted recruitment agency, is partnering with a well-established dental practice in East Lansing, MI, to hire a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant. • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, crowns, and extractions.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure the cleanliness of dental equipment following infection control protocols.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Provide patient care and education before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and understanding of treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting as directed by the dentist.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure availability of necessary materials.
• Perform laboratory tasks such as impressions and model pouring.
• Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient follow-up.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant program or equivalent work experience.
• State licensure or certification as required in Michigan (e.g., Registered Dental Assistant - RDA).
• Proficiency in taking and developing X-rays.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and the dental team.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with dental software for managing patient records is a plus.
