Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet of delivery vehicles. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing the maintenance, scheduling, and overall operation of our vehicles to ensure timely and efficient delivery of linen.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the fleet.
Ensure all vehicles are well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
Schedule regular maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime.
Monitor vehicle performance and address any issues promptly.
Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Manage fleet-related budgets and expenses.
Managing SOPs and company-required policies
Interview and Hire Candidates as needed for the Team
Managing driver software to ensure productivity and timely deliveries
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of fleet management software and tracking systems
Knowledge of the tri-state area and yearly activities in the Manhattan area
