Job Description

Position: 3rd Shift Machine Operator

Location: Rockford, MI

Compensation: $16 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time, Weekly Pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Efficiently operate plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts, primarily for office furniture components.
• Production Monitoring: Continuously observe machine operations to ensure product quality and adherence to production specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the molded parts.
• Maintenance Support: Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered during the shift.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with injection molding or machine operation, is preferred.
• Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
