Camp Walt Whitman is one of the Northeast's premier coed sleepaway summer camps. With camper ranging from 7 - 15 years old, we offer a robust 7-week program with a variety of activities, trips, sports, and opportunities to build connections.


Our tennis program at Walt Whitman is one of our biggest and most popular programs for all our campers. Our facilities offer 8 clay courts and 3 hard surface courts. We have a team of 10 tennis instructors. Day to day, our instructors are on court coaching groups of 5-7 campers, smaller groups of 3-5 campers, or running more intensive and private lessons for our kids that want to get extra hits and more one on one coaching! Our tennis instructors get to spend their days on court, getting hands on experience coaching, and get to be around other athletes in an environment of competition and support. As a member of the tennis program, you'd be managed and coached by our Tennis Director, Whitney Kraft, who's a collegiate tennis coach and spent 14 years as the Director of Tennis at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center and the U.S. Open in New York. Whitney is there to create culture of team, foster personal development for both campers and the instructors and giving on-court coaching and guidance. Our tennis staff is part of our larger staff, which is about 250 staff members, something special about working at a residential camp such as CWW, is the relationships and connections that our staff make with one another. This summer, we've hired from over 40 states in the U.S. and from about 15 countries globally, our staff are making global friendship and connections!

Dates: June 12th - August 11th
Salary starting at $2,000 + Travel Stipend.
Additional bonuses are available during the summer.
Housing, food, and transportation to and from the airport is provided.

Salary: $ 2,400.00 3,000.00 Per Year
